Last week, Hewlett Packard Enterprise announced the acquisition of startup Ampool, a maker of an open source data platform designed to accelerate SQL queries used in business intelligence projects.
Ampool developments will be integrated with the #Ezmeral container software platform, designed to control and manage enterprise data, applications and IT infrastructure, protect and monitor them from the periphery to the cloud.
By the way, Ampool employs specialists who were previously in Yahoo, LinkedIn, Pivotal and Veritas Technologies. Before becoming part of HPE, the startup attracted a total of $ 400,000 in investment.
