Hewlett Packard Enterprise joins the Ukrainian Silicon Valley project!
Hewlett Packard Enterprise has joined the Ukrainian Silicon Valley project, which has recently been implemented in Kharkiv on behalf of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Ecopolis HTZ, a high-tech business park invested by Oleksandr Yaroslavskyy’s DCH company, has become the basis of the future innovation ecosystem.
HPE and Ecopolis HTZ solemnly signed a memorandum of cooperation, which approved joint initiatives and cooperation in the development of a major technology project in Ukraine.
The memorandum provides for cooperation in the implementation of joint projects with the involvement of third parties, including the city authorities of Kharkiv. Together HPE and Ecopolis HTZ will develop projects in the field of IT infrastructure of the business park and will work on the creation of data centers and high-performance IT systems.
“We hope that our cooperation will result in successful initiatives and business projects. Our main goal is to create and maintain an ecosystem, cooperation with our partners, in this case cooperation with Ecopolis HTZ will give a new impetus to the IT initiative in the region and in Ukraine as a whole,” said Andriy Pishchikov, CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Sophela.
According to plans, the volume of investments in the “Ukrainian Silicon Valley” project in Kharkiv for the next 10 years is about $1 billion. As part of the project, there will be built an IT park, R&D centers, educational and scientific clusters, modern high-tech production, which will allow Ukraine to create at least 10 thousand new jobs.
