COURSE OVERVIEW
This 3-day course equips students with the skills and knowledge to install, configure, and manage HP Helion CloudSystem Foundation. Students will be given an overview of OpenStack, explanation of terms, and architecture. The course covers all of the fundamentals needed to install, configure, and manage HP Helion CloudSystem Foundation. This course is 40% lecture and 60% hands-on lab.
PREREQUISITES
HP recommends that students have attained the following credentials or levels of experience before taking this course:
- Strongly Recommended: Fundamentals of OpenStack® Technology (H6C68S)
- HP OneView Administration (H4C04S)
- HP Virtual Connect (HK758S)
In addition, HP recommends that students are familiar with general networking terminology and basic network security concepts and have an understanding of one of the following operating systems:
- Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES
- vSphere 5.5

Administrators, engineers and consultants who will:
- Configure management server(s) for HP Helion CloudSystem Foundation
- Install HP Helion CloudSystem Foundation
- Configure networking and storage in HP Helion CloudSystem Foundation
- Deploy images and manage instances
