COURSE OVERVIEW
This 2-day course equips students with the skills and knowledge to manage HP CloudSystem Enterprise. This course is aimed primarily at administrators, designers and users of HP CloudSystem.
This course covers administrator tasks, designer tasks with CSA (Cloud System Automation) and OO (Operations Orchestration) tools, user tasks and API usage. The intent is to provide hands-on experience using the product. This course is 50% lecture and 50% hands-on lab.
PREREQUISITES
HP strongly recommends that students attend the following courses first:
- Mandatory: Introduction to OpenStack® Foundations or equivalent working experience with OpenStack® administration (H6C68S)
- Mandatory: HP CloudSystem Foundation Administration (H4C05S)
- HP OneView Administration (H4C04S) Required for HP CloudSystem built on ConvergedSystem 700x
- HP partners, HP employees and Cloud Architects should also attend the following course: Navigating the Journey to Cloud (H1L34S)
In addition, HP recommends that students are familiar with general networking terminology and basic network security concepts and have an understanding of one of the following operating systems:
- Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES
- vSphere 5.5
